Our Mission:
The Career Center promotes the development of PACE students as professionals by providing the tools to guide you in making career-planning decisions along with developing and marketing your skills to employers.

Learning Goals:
The Career Center offers programs and services to help students identify career goals and connect knowledge and skills developed through coursework and co-curricular activities with career aspirations.

All students are entitled to use the Careers Service, both while at PACE and for 10 years after they graduate.

The Careers Guidance cell can help you:

  • To choose and manage your career
  • To develop you and your skills for job seeking
  • To apply for jobs or further study
Students can book online, by phone or in person to use the CV Checking Service, for a 1:1 guidance appointment with a Careers Adviser,or simply pop up to our drop-in service.
  • The Careers Service also carry out mock interviews, run practice Assessment Centers, and organize practice psychometric testing, all of which will help students prepare for the real thing.
  • The new improved Resource Centre combines the latest CTouch technology with traditional hard copy books and leaflets, to give you all the careers information you need.
  • The Careers Service also manage activities which helps students to reflect on and gain part-time work, internships, volunteering or international activities. If you achieve an Award, it is added to your graduate transcript, making you even more attractive to employers.
  • You might want to speak to one of our careers advisers even before you’re a student here, as they can help you choose the right course to suit your strengths and/or career ambitions.
  • Throughout your time here they’re on hand to help you develop your career plans, decide on your course options and plan the next steps, whether into employment or further study.
  • Our advisers are knowledgeable, friendly people, who, like our employability advisers, are available during daily drop-in sessions or can see you for a one-to-one interview by appointment.
Students on a variety of topics including: job/internship search strategies, interviewing tips, grad school, choosing a major, finding a career with your major, career planning, enhancing your resume, and more.............
